Sydney City to Surf

Held in August every year, the Sydney City to Surf is the world's largest timed run, with, in 2011, over 85,000 participants.

First run in 1971, its modelled on the US Bay to Breakers in San Francisco.

This year, a new world record was attempted, for the most people stretching at the same time.

And one of Europe - I'm surprised at how few countries I've been to. Does include Albania just after the fall of communism which was interesting.

Iceland is on the list to see the ice, the volcanoes and the Northern Lights.

Floater

Good name, if not what they think it means...

Nice one Apple.

Terminal 4, Barajas Airport, Madrid, Spain

The Terminal 4 at Barajas Airport terminal was designed by Richard Rogers and Antonio Lamela. Quite a building.
